Wahoos are super fast game fish that may be the best sashimi fish in the ocean. They are a step above rare in Miami, found in the summer lurking under floating debris, sometimes among Mahi. Into the colder months they push closer to shore and they can be caught of the kites. Trips to the Bahamas to high speed for these fish are the most productive if you time it right where 4+ a day over 20-30 lbs is possible.
