Snook are structure oriented fish that tend to be most active in the evening. They lay on bottom staring up waiting for bait to drift over them in the current. They are great eating but are a slot fish, meaning they have to be in between certain sizes to keep. Too small means they have not yet bred while too big means they are too important for reproduction to harvest. Current slot is 28″-32″ and are only harvestable during short intervals of the year.
